Arise IIP Partners with Africa Finance Corporation (AFC)
Lagos, 18th July 2024 – ARISE IIP, a leading developer and operator of industrial parks across Africa, has partnered with the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC), a key player in infrastructure solutions on the continent, to launch a $100 million capital pool. This initiative is designed to support companies setting up operations within ARISE IIP's Special Economic Zones (SEZs) across Africa.
This collaboration reflects a mutual commitment to empower African businesses by offering crucial financing and advisory services to drive growth. AFC will also engage with Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) and financial institutions at both local and regional levels to secure additional funding, reinforcing the joint mission of ARISE IIP and AFC to promote industrialization, job creation, and economic development throughout Africa.
Through this partnership, AFC will provide a wide range of financial services, including advisory support for corporate finance, equipment financing, and market entry strategies. This includes facilitating joint ventures and technical partnerships for sponsors in need, ensuring that companies operating within the SEZs are well-positioned to capitalize on opportunities and thrive. By leveraging AFC's vast network and expertise, ARISE IIP aims to foster a dynamic ecosystem that supports entrepreneurship and promotes sustainable economic growth across the continent.
