The 2021-2026 Social project of the Republic of Congo is focused on the industrialization of the country. The implementation of this ambitious plan – to structurally transform our economy – is based on the development of four existing special economic zones (SEZs), including: Pointe-Noire, Brazzavi...View Morelle, Ollombo-Oyo and Ouesso. In the same vein, the Government of the Republic chose the development of SEZs as the third pillar of the National Development Plan (NDP) 2022-2026. Consequently, to prioritize and involve the local labor in the construction of the Pointe-Noire Special Economic Zone, 350 young people were called to receive training in Construction, thus obtaining the necessary skills required to fully contribute to the realization of our nation’s plan.

We are here in the second SEZ of Kinshasa, the SEZ of KIN MALEBO, situated approximately 40km from the center of Kinshasa. Kin-Malebo will specialize in the processing of Congolese wood, pharmaceuticals, packaging, and others. Samaila Zubairu, the Managing Director of the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC), expressed enthusiasm about this transformative project for the DRC. He emphasized that it aligns with AFC’s strategic commitment to constructing infrastructure that precisely caters to a country’s needs. The development of the Kin-Malebo industrial zone further underscores AFC’s dedication to supporting African nations in enhancing their industrial capabilities.

Benin is entering an important phase in its history, that of going far with serious project leaders who will process raw materials and create jobs for young Beninese. These factories remain a safe destination for our raw materials and a prerequisite for increasing our agricultural production.
